Super Tensile Strength Structural Frame
The safety know-how of Benz is vividly shown with super tensile strength structural frame and then each component of a car absorbs the impact energy systematically to keep the original shape of passenger area when collision is occurred.
 
One-piece Side Frame
To maintain the strength against side impact, the reinforcement is attached inside the side-room, and the size of the B-pillar is drastically enlarged. The side frame structured in one-piece with the large cross member secures the safety of a passenger as much as possible from the side collision impact.
 
Back Side Impact Absorption Frame
The impact absorption frame is adopted to prevent invasion upon the passenger space and to secure the safety space for fuel tank from the collision on the back side.
